KONET INTEGRATED MEAT PRODUCTS PLANT
Since its establishment in 1992, KONET has been meeting a significant portion of red meat demand in Turkey.
KONET’s facility was constructed in 43,500 sqm area, with a 24,000 sqm closed area. In a single shift, the facility can slaughter 1,200 cattles and 2,400 sheep.
The storage facility of KONET can store up to 1,500 large animal and 2,500 small ruminant carcasses at 0-4 °C.
Besides, 800 tons of frozen carcasses can be stored at -18 °C. The facility has 25 tons of tunnel freezing capacity in 8 hours. (-35 °C).
KONET's facility is ranked as the biggest private slaughterhouse in Turkey with carcass freezing unit.
